Positive Thoughts always make us feel better, don't they? I really dislike being around someone that's always complaining. And, guess what really puts good thoughts into my head. RECEIVING GOOD MAIL! Like a "thinking of you" for no other special reason. In fact, I had one arrive in my mail box this past week. It was BEAUTIFUL with a little bird nest and bird and a butterfly. Awwww. Thanks, Karen!
I have used the stamp set from Stampin'Up called "Positive Thoughts" and the die coordinated die set "Nature's Thoughts" for my card this week.
I don't have a tutorial for it because it is SO EASY! In fact you could use almost any stamp set for this.
I used Rococo Tile and stamped off once, then stamped a couple of stamps on white cardstock to make the background, leaving about 1.5 inch black circle in center.
Next, with pear pizzazz, I stamped the leaves. Last, I stamped the flowers with Purple Posy. On another white cardstock, stamp 3 more flowers and die cut. Place them on top of the stamped flowers with dimensionals to give a 3-D effect.
Attach the stamped paper to white paper and use Rococo Rose as your base card.
Inside, stamp a flower in the bottom right corner with Rococo Rose (yes, it will show up). Add little doodles around the edges.
On the front of the white envelope, stamp the flower in the
bottom left corner with purple posy or die cut one and apply.
What a PERFECT "thinking of you" card or a get well or a birthday or sympathy!
