Paper Artist Personal  Information
Paper Crafting. Greeting Cards. Scrapbooking. Handmade.

Crafting has been in my veins since I was a tiny girl, watching my grandmother at a quilting bee or sitting beside the fire and tatting lace. She taught me to embroider, observe birds, wander around in the woods for wildflowers to add to her gorgeous flower garden, and to appreciate all things beautiful....like china cups.

My mom taught me to sew and crochet. I taught myself to cross stitch on 28 stitches to the inch; this happened somewhere close to the age of 20.

In 1987, I had my first computer. I fell in love with all the possibilities. Was I a geek? I don't think so, but I took every computer class that the school district offered.....Microsoft word, excel, publisher, power point, access. I went on to graduate from Greenville Technical College in their first ever web design class. Some of my courses were Adobe Dreamweaver for websites, and Adobe Photoshop. Then I took online classes on "teaching online classes." LOL (I also taught Microsoft Office part time at Southern Wesleyan University for a couple of years.)

I taught Office 1 and 2 and the 2 Adobe programs of DW and PS in Donaldson Career Center, and later at Woodmont High School. After 38 years of public school teaching, I decided to retire and craft full time.

You can craft full time also if you join the Stampin'Up(c) team!

Now that I am 70, I still love creating, but now I have moved on to paper crafts. I LOVE making cards and teaching others to love the art also. Let me help you find a new, exciting, wonderfully creative artPaper Crafting. Greeting Cards. Scrapbooking. Handmade.
